Snowshoe trails in Sparenmoos
Away from the cross-country ski trails and winter hiking paths, you can discover the snow-covered mountain world on our two snowshoe routes. Both trails are circular routes, marked in pink and starting at the Berghaus Sparenmoos. They are not groomed and offer you a pure nature experience.
"Sparenmoos Trail"
The Sparenmoos Trail is an easy circular panoramic trail through the tranquil moorland. Along the way, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Bernese Alps and the Simmental valley.
"Nüjeberg Trail"
The Nüjeberg Trail is moderately challenging and requires some stamina. Allow around 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you reach the top, your reward awaits: a view that is guaranteed to take your breath away.
Fair travel
Our snowshoe trails are free of charge, but we ask you to be considerate:
- Stay on the pink-marked routes
- The green marked trails are exclusively for cross-country skiers
- Please bring any rubbish and dog waste bags back to the mountain hut
This way, Sparenmoos remains a winter paradise for everyone!
